A quick little model of a water jug. Rendered in Cycles.
It’s super low-poly and uses a SubSurf modifier to make it smoother.
The rough part of the plastic was made with a procedural Noise texture. For the material, instead of using just a plain Glass BSDF (since that’s boring), I also added some color variation by using a Fresnel. I also changed the IOR to 1.46 since that’s accurate according to a thread on CgSociety.
The node setup below is for the rough plastic. The smooth plastic is exactly the same but without the displacement input.
For the final render I just used an HDRI for the lighting and did a little bit of color-correction in Photoshop.
